Gandhaka Rasayana

Gandhaka Rasayana mentioned in Ayurvedic text Rasatanta sara has wide range  of  therapeutic properties as well as prophylactic activity.

It acts as a Rasayana (rejuvenator) by immune modulation in the body, thus making the body to resist against the factors causing ailments.

It acts on tridosha, also has Rakta Shodhak action, and helps reduce the itching of the skin, and purifies the blood.

Dosage: 1 tablet twice or thrice a day or as directed by the physician.

Indication: Twak roga, Raktha dushti, Kandu, Krimi

Anupana: Warm water, milk

Action:

• • • Gandhaka Rasayana is effective in alleviating skin infections due to its anti-microbial activity, and significantly exfoliates the outer layer of dead skin cells and suppresses itching completely and thus is effective in clearing skin lesions.
    • Elemental Sulphur is vital in Human nutrition, it is an active ingredient in Amino acids, Cartilage Chondrotin Sulphate, Anti-Oxidant Glutathione.
    • Gandhaka rasayan may supplement many such vital nutritional components for Growth, Tissue growth, Muscle health and Bone health
    • Gandhaka has Krimighna action as per Ayurvedic texts.
    • Experimental studies proved Gandhaka Rasayana has effective Anti-Microbial and Anti-Fungal action may inhibit Streptococcus; Clostridium species of Bacteria and is thus effective in Infectious Skin diseases.
