- - Proctacare ointment benefits against the conditions of infected sinus and fistula, associated with pus discharge where iridoid glycoside in Proctacare Ointment locally dries up discharge and clears the anal region.
  - In the process of the repairing the post-operative wound in piles and fissure, following injury to the skin and other soft tissues in the ano-rectal region, Proctacare Ointment acts best in healing by reducing the swelling and pain and localised irritation.
  - The symptoms like burning sensation, itching in anal region either due to piles, fissure or fistula will be reduced by Proctacare ointment.
  - Anti-bacterial action of Picrorrhizin of Proctacare Ointment prevents infection of the fissure and relieves suppuration, helps in faster healing of the wound.
  - The anti-inflammatory action of apocynin of Proctacare Ointment effects the pile mass and eventually reduces pain along with swelling.
  - Tannins in Proctacare ointment combine with tissue protein and precipitate them. They also act as antiseptic and check small haemorrhages by forming a protective covering on the surface of wound thus helps in faster healing.
  - Phytosterols promote wound healing process along with Tannins by increasing capillary formation and fibroblast proliferation enhancing the rate of epithelization.
