Ekangaveer Ras
Ekangaveer Ras is an Ayurvedic herbo-mineral medicine useful in Neurological conditions like Facial palsy, Paralysis, Sciatica, Chronic backache, Cervical spondylosis, Brachial neuralgia, Parkinson’s disease.
Net Weight: 125mg Ref: Brihat Nighantu Ratnakara, Vatavyadhi Chikitsa
Dosage: 1 tablet twice or thrice a day or as directed by the physician.
Indication: Vatavyadhis, Ardita, Pakshaghata, Avabahuka
Anupana: Madhu (Honey), Warm water.

- Ekangaveera Ras with ginger in it protects dopaminergic neurons in Parkinson’s disease by anti-neuroinflammation.
- Ekangaveer Ras with Kupilu in it stimulates the motor centre and the ganglionic systems to stabilize the activities thereby being useful in neuronal involvements.
- Nirgundi in Ekangaveer Ras exhibit anti-inflammatory, and analgesic by inhibiting prostaglandin thus helpful in treating painful inflammatory conditions and also reduces oxidative stress over nerves.
- Kupilu in Ekangaveer Ras is beneficial in paralytic conditions arising from dysfunction of the motor nerves possibly by stimulating the motor center.
- Pippali and Maricha of Ekangaveera Ras act as neuroprotectors that augment the neurotransmitter reuptake and regulation of the serotonergic system.
