Arshakutara Ras is a herbo-mineral Ayurvedic Formulation specifically for Arshas /Piles. Arshakutara Ras acts like an axe for cutting the roots of garden-like piles (too many in number) so the name ARSHAKUTARA.

Action:

• • • Chitraka in Arshakutara Ras corrects mandagni, which is the major cause of arshas.
    • Danti in Arshakutara Ras has purgative action and relieves constipation, the main cause of hemorrhoids.
    • Loha bhasma, yavakshara, and Abhraka in Arshakutara Ras have lekhana action thus reducing the size of pile mass.
    • Tankana in Arshakutara Ras has ropana properties which helps in healing fissures and bleeding piles.
    • Vatsanabha in Arshakutara Ras reduces inflammation and pain in the anal region.
    • Bilva in Arshakutara Ras has anti-inflammatory properties and helps in reducing pain and swelling.
    • Loha bhasma and Abhraka in Arshakutara Ras help correct Haemoglobin deficiency caused by excessive bleeding in Raktarshas.
