- Polyphenols, Flavonoids and Ascorbic acid on account of their free radical scavenging property acts as a stimulant for wound healing.
- Increases wound contraction by increasing Hydroxyproline, a specific protein of collagen and an important component of cellular granulation tissue matrix.
- Epigallocatechin gallate binds to the Pepidodoglycan layer in the cell wall of Staphylococcus aureus, induces its precipitation and subsequent damage, responsible for antimicrobial action.
- Pinnatin, Pongamol, Pongapin, inhibit microbes S. aureus, E-coli, Candida albicans and others exerting a broad spectrum Anti-biotic and Anti-fungal action.
- Increased level of superoxide dismutase (SOD) exhibits Anti-Oxidant activity synergistic effect of both antimicrobial and anti-oxidant activity accelerates wound healing process.

- Sitz Bath powder used with warm water will increase the blood flow to the peri-anal area and promotes faster healing.
- Usage of sitz bath powder relieves symptoms like irritation, mild pain and provides relief from itching in pruritis of anal or genital region.
- In both bleeding and non-bleeding piles Sitz Bath Powder can be used as it provides a local relief.
- In post-operative wound management of ano-rectal problems, Sitz Bath Powder relieves inflammation and acts as an anti-septic agent in Fistula and Fissure.
- By keeping the ano-rectal region sterile, Sitz Bath Powder acts in accelerating the wound healing process.

Dosage: Boil 10 gm of powder in 1 litre of water for 15 minutes and add plain water up to lukewarm stage and use for Sitz bath twice
Indications: Bleeding and non-bleeding Piles, Fissure, Fistula, and postoperative Ano- rectal problems. Relieves inflammation, pain and keeps Anal region sterile, accelerates healing.
Precaution: For sitz bath only. Do not take internally.
