Agnitundi Vati

Agnitundi vati is a traditional Ayurvedic formulation useful in Agnimandya. It is a Kharaliya Rasayana and Herbo-mineral formulation (Rasaushadhi). All ingredients have Agnideepaka and Ama pachaka actions.

Agnitundi-VatiThe action of Agnitundi Vati is mainly on Aamashaya and Pakwashaya, it increases the stimulation of Pachaka Pitta, corrects the Gati of Saman Vayu, and mainly decreases Amavisha vatapradana lakshanas and Agnimandya.

It also acts on Ajirna, Visuchika, Grahani, Shoola, Koshthagata-Vata, Sarvangvata, Parinamshoola, Vatavyadhi & Amavata.

Dosage: 1 tablet twice or thrice a day or as directed by the physician.

Anupana: Warm water, Nimbu Swarasa (Lime juice)

Action:

      • Agnitundi Vati stimulates digestive juices and helps in proper digestion, and acts as a good appetizer.
      • Svarjikshara in Agnitundi Vati acts as a systemic alkalizing agent which acts as an antacid and relieves the symptoms like heartburn, and indigestion.
      • Agnitundi Vati has Vatsanabha which has anti-pyretic and diaphoretic action and effectively relieves Ama jwara.
      • Kupilu in Agnitundi Vati improves digestion by increasing the secretion of digestive juices and removes toxins.
      • Vatsanabha and Kuchala in Agnitundi Vati have Vyavayi and Vikashi guna and Kajjali being Yogvahi and Sarvarogahara enhances the potency of the drug and fastens the mode of action.
      • Vatsanabha and Kuchala have Vedanashamak action, relieves Shoola, & other pains associated with Vata Kapha origin especially Amavata, & Kati shoola.
      • Agnitundi Vati with Vishamushti is an excellent Nerve stimulant that can be used in Vatakaphaja Ghridrasi.
