Arogyavardhini Vati

Arogya means health, vardhini means improver This formulation “Arogyavardhini Vati” improves health, balances tridoshas.

Predominantly used for treating Kushta (Skin orders), Yakrit vikara (Liver Disorders).

    • Dosage: 1 tablet twice or thrice a day or as directed by the physician.
    • Indication: Kushta, Yakrit vikara, Medo dosha, Jeerna jwara
    • Anupana: Warm water, Ardrak swara, Nimbu Swarasa, Madhu
    • Properties: Deepana, Pachana, Shodhana, Rasayana, Medohara, Ayushkara

Action

According to Rasaratnasamucchaya, Bhaisajyaratnavali  and  Bharatbhaisajyaratnakar  the  drug Arogyavardhini  vati  possess  the  pharmacological  action  like-Kusthanasaka (can alleviate all types of skin disorder) – indicated for 1 mandal  (14  days).  Tridosha  jvara  nashaka  (fever  arising  due  to involvement  of  three humours)  – indicated  for 5  days.

Also, the drug having the properties like – Pachana, Dipana, Hridya, Medonasaka, Malashuddhikari  

• • • Alleviates all types of skin disorders especially caused by Grahani and Pakwashaya doshas, Vata and Vata Kapha pradhana Kushtha
    • Chitraka contributes to pachana (digestive), dipana (appetizer) effect, carminative effect.
    • Hepatoprotective action Triphala and Katuki reduced the activity of SGOT and SGPT, prevents other abnormal Biochemical changes in Liver
    • Triphala and Katuki also have laxative, cholagogue, and liver stimulatory action corrects all digestive disorders and associated complications and Anti-viral action and may help reduce Viral hepatitis.
